Toshiba Air Conditioners

Toshiba is a Japanese company with headquarters in Tokyo.  They specialise in consumer products, infrastructure, electronic devices and electronic components.  They are also one of the world’s biggest manufacturers of personal computers as well as a leading producer of electronic devices.

Toshiba came into existence in 1939 after two companies, Tanaka Seisakusho and Hakunetsusha, or Tokyo Denki as it became known, were merged.  The company was originally known as Tokyo Shibaura Electric and it was not long before it earned the nickname Toshiba.  The company decided to become officially known as Toshiba in 1978.

Toshiba began to grow steadily and it was not long before there were many spin off subsidiaries including Toshiba Electrical Equipment.  This subsidiary specialises in the manufacture of electronic devices such as personal computers, televisions, mobile phones and of course air conditioners.

Toshiba air conditioners are among the best in the world and this stems from the company’s commitment to constantly delivering top quality and high standards of innovation in all areas.  The same principles are applied to their air conditioning units and that is why Toshiba continues to be one of the market leaders when it comes to introducing new air conditioning units for both the residential and commercial markets.

Toshiba is a company that prides itself on its commitment to helping the environment and it works hard to ensure that all air conditioning units are manufactured to help the world we live in while not compromising the high standards that customers have come to expect from the brand.  The company’s drive and dedication for creating environmentally friendly products has earned it no fewer than fourteen environmental awards and an ISO 14001 certification.  The fact that the company produces air conditioning VRF and energy efficient split products which use R410A refrigerant has earned it a lot of international praise.

Toshiba works hard to ensure that its air conditioning units are made to be reliable and energy efficient while still looking great.  In fact Toshiba are one of the world leaders in producing top quality air conditioning units that customers can rely on.  The company offers superb warranties with all their units. This gives customers peace of mind that the company is so sure of the reliability of these units that they are prepared to offer extended warranties.

Toshiba was the first company to introduce inverter technology into their air conditioning units back in 1981 and this was something that gave them an edge over their competition.  Now with the introduction of the new DC hybrid inverter system, Toshiba are once again head and shoulders above the crowd.  This new system means that the Toshiba air conditioners are much more energy efficient and provide a much more comfortable environment for the consumer.
